Teachers will implement a common set of school- wide instructional strategies for open response questions to support this instructional focus. Success will be measured by student performance on a 4- point MCAS rubric, school performance- based writing assessments and MCAS results.

Welcome to West Street School

West Street School Presents Alice in Wonderland Jr.

The Arts are alive at West Street School! Fourth and fifth grade students have been working on “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” since December. The 43 member cast magically carries Alice through a Wonderland dream. A White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter and other fanciful creatures entertain in this musical adapted from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Time built into the day through Extended Learning Time and a dedicated cast and staff-crew that rehearsed well beyond the school day are what make a production of this caliber possible. It’s a huge commitment and the time spent is all worthwhile when we can offer families this imaginative, lively show that keeps the magic of childhood alive.

Play dates are Thursday and Friday, June 4 and 5 at 7:00 and Saturday, June 6 at 2:00 in the Southbridge High School auditorium.
